World-renowned artist Alev Ebuzziya, known for her unique ceramic vessels in the collections of 30 museums around the world, also has a special interest in glass and textile arts. “When I graduated, I was sure that I would not become a dentist or a lawyer,” says Alev Ebuzziya and continues: “Art is very precious to me, but I also want to work in the world of design, I want to produce on a larger scale and make my products available to more people”. Admiring the spacious and modern design of the period in Denmark, Ebuzziya decided to visit Copenhagen in 1996. With his works of simplicity and tranquility, Ebuzziya was the ideal designer for the Nude brand. Ebuzziya, who often visits his hometown Istanbul, has been living in Paris for the last 32 years in a house in the 14th arrondissement, where she also has a studio.
